Let’s Celebrate and Treat Yourself with Heffy Doodle!

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing this fun and simple card with Heffy Doodle stamps and dies! The ice creams are just adorable and make a fun background for the celebrate die cut.

To create the card, I first prepped the cardstock with an anti-static powder tool. Then I stamped the ice creams and watermelon from the ‘Treat Yo-Self‘ stamp set with VersaMark ink. To keep the background interesting, I made sure to stamp all the images in a random pattern and in different angles. After heat setting the white embossing powder, I started with blending Distress Ink Worn Lipstick on the background. As I wanted the borders to be a little bit darker, I used a light touch of Distress Ink Seedless Preserves. To make sure everything blended well together, I went back over it with the Worn Lipstick.

For the sentiment I die cut the word ‘Celebrate‘ out of Neenah Solar White cardstock and also once out of craft foam. I glued the two together with tacky glue to create dimension. As a finishing touch, I added Nuvo Drops Sherbert Shimmer and White Blizzard in a couple of places on the background.

I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!

Yeti it’s Cold Outside! Center Picture with Snowboarding Yeti’s

Hi everyone! This new Yeti or Not stamp set from Lawn Fawn is so adorable! I snowboard myself so I really love this set. It is not only perfect for creating cute Christmas cards, but birthday cards as well. Especially when you love snowboarding!

It has been a while since I’ve created a Center Picture Window card. For this card, I pulled it out again since it would allow me to make an awesome scene. Make sure to check out my video on my youtube channel which shows all the copic coloring and card assembly. If you like watching my video’s, don’t forget to subscribe.

Clean and Simple Panda Card with Distress Oxide Ink

Hi everyone! These panda’s from Mama Elephant are just too adorable! I especially like the little kung fu like panda’s. When you make a card with these panda’s, the card does not need much else. So for this card, I really wanted the panda’s to be the hero on the card without too much distraction from other elements.

The cards I’m sharing today have the same basic design, so the process was also the same. To start I stamped the panda’s with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah Solar White paper. To color them, I used the following copic markers:

  • Greens: YG01, YG13, YG17
  • Browns: E31, E55, E57

After all the coloring was done, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them. For the background, I masked off the bottom piece. With my blending brush I applied Distress Oxide Twisted Citron on the cardstock. To add some interest, I also diluted a bit of the ink with water and created splatters on the background.

For the sentiment, I used a ‘Happy Birthday‘ from Lawn Fawn. For one of the cards, I first adhered a strip of black glitter cardstock below the green background before stamping the sentiment. For that card, I also adhered the panda’s with foam squares to add dimension. And for the other card, I glued the panda’s directly to the background. For the card with the black glitter, I also added some glitter with Wink of Stella to some of the panda’s to tie it to the glitter strip.

So these are 2 cards with the same basic design and a small element that is different. I’m curious to hear which one you like the most! Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!

Hi everyone! The new Lawn Fawn release is available, yay! If you don’t have it yet, it is available at Scrapbook.com in the US and Cloud9 Crafts in The Netherlands. Make sure to check out my video on my youtube channel which shows all the copic coloring and card assembly. If you like watching my video’s, don’t forget to subscribe.

As you can see from the picture below, the sky is in beautiful fall colors and has shiny speckles which add a magical effect. And I just love with the new Fall Fling paper!

This brand can be hard to come by when you live in The Netherlands. But I have good news for my fellow Europeans! My favourite store, Cloud9 Crafts, has added this brand to their collection! This post is not sponsored by the way, I’m just a big fan of the shop and the great customer service.

Easy Watercolor Background feat. Gerda Steiner Designs

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing this card with you featuring the Happy Mail stamp set from Gerda Steiner Designs. It is a stamp set I received as part of my prize a while back. Unfortunately it seems this set is not available anymore, you got it for free a while back with orders at their shop. But they have a lot of these cute stamp sets which are worth checking out.

For this card I created an easy watercolor background with my Mijello Mission Gold watercolor set. Check out the video to see how anyone, even without watercoloring skills, can do his. So in case you would like to try out this idea as well, make sure to check out the video on my channel.

Here are some close up photos of the card. The envelopes are stamped with white pearl embossing powder which gives them a nice shine in the right light.

I hope you liked this card and it gave you inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!

Card | Creative Pop-Up Box

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing with you a very creative take on the Mini Pop-Up Box die from Lawn Fawn. It does not look much like a box anymore, does it? When I saw the Keep on Swimming stamp set, this idea came to mind, and I just had to figure out how to do it.

For the ones interested, I created a video on the card making process. So in case you would like to try out this idea as well, make sure to check out the video on my channel. I have other video’s available too using the same die. And if you like my video’s, don’t forget to subscribe.

The main scene is on the inside of the card, with the cute cat staring at the fish in the bowl. I just love the sentiment “I can’t take my eyse off of you”, it cracks me up.

I also thought about the front of the card. This is gives the recipient an idea of what is inside the card, plus it holds the card shut, which is convenient when placed in an envelope.

I hope you liked this card and it gave you inspiration to use the mini pop-up box in multiple ways. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
