Birthday Card featuring Little Agenda Ice Cream – Mama Elephant

Hi everyone! I LOVE the new Ice Cream set from Mama Elephant and was super inspired by the colors of the Rainbow Ever After pattern paper from Lawn Fawn. This card came together super easy and was a joy to make!

Before I’m diving into the cardmaking process, I want to mention we have a challenge running over at Cloud9 Crafts. The theme of this month is “Sweet Treats”. Head over to Instagram to see how you can participate and be eligible to win a prize!

First I stamped the images from Little Agenda Ice Cream on Perfect Colouring paper and colored them with Copic markers.

  • Pinks: R30, R32
  • Purples: BV0000, BV00, BV02
  • Yellows: Y11, Y13, Y26
  • Mint: G02, G00, G000
  • Browns: E50, E51, E21, E23, E25, E27

After coloring I die cut the images with the coordinating dies.

On the cardbase I adhered pattern paper from the Rainbow Ever After paper pack which was also my inspiration for color choices. As background for the scene, I die cut a piece of white cardstock with a Wonky Stitched Rectangle die. The bottom I ink blended with Distress Oxide Milled Lavendar. Above the ‘ground’ I added splatters with Distress Oxide Milled Lavender and Shaded Lilac.

For the sentiment I used the Scripty Enjoy die from Lawn Fawn. I gave it a gradient color with Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo, Milled Lavender and Shaded Lilac.

I hope you like this card, and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
