Hi everyone! This month is the big anniversary release of Mama Elephant and it is super fun! When I saw the Keep Cozy set I had this cute idea to create the blankets out of pattern paper. Have you ever tried this?
Before I’m diving into the cardmaking process, I want to mention we have a challenge running over at Cloud9 Crafts. The theme of this month is “Birthday”. Head over to Instagram to see how you can participate and be eligible to win a prize!

First I stamped the critters from Keep Cozy on Perfect Colouring paper and colored them with Copic markers:
- Pinks: R83, R81, RV000
- Purples: V17, V15, V12, V000
- Bunny and dog: E57, E55, E53, E51, E50
- Cats: E00, E000, W2, W0
After coloring, I die cut the image with coordinating dies. As you may notice, the blankets have patterns as I had also stamped the critters on Orange Sherbet pattern paper and fussy cut the blankets. These blankets I then adhered on the colored critters.

For the background, I die cut the Comic Cover Basic frame twice out of white cardstock and stacked them for some dimension. On the cardbase I adhered Sherbet Orange pattern paper, and on top the frame. In the centre frame, I stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The images I adhered with foam squares to make them stand out a bit more from the background.
I hope you like this card, and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
