Hi everyone! One of the things I love when creating a card with mermaids, is you can play around with fun colors for the hair and mermaid tail. The stamp I’m featuring is the Mermazing Day from Streamside Studios. It has been a joy working with this set as guest designer!
First I created the scene on my iPad with Procreate. After I was happy with the layout, I printed it out on Perfect Colouring paper. If you would like to know how I resize digital stamps and create scenes, you can watch this video on my YouTube channel. After printing, I colored the image with my Copic markers.
- Mermaid hair: E74, R85, R83, R81, V000
- Mermaid tail: BV0000, BV00, BV02, BG57, BG53, B000
- Mermaid skin: E04, E13, E11, E00, R81
- Seaweed: BG78, BG75, BG72, B000
- Sea: BG0000, B000, B00
- Flower: R85, R83, R81, V000
Once the scene was all colored up, I die cut it with a mini slimline rectangle die and added some highlights with a white gel pen. Finally I adhered the scene on a Moonstone cardstock card base.
