Teal and Pink Friendship Card – Pinkfresh Studio

Hi everyone! I’m so happy with all the different colors of foil available nowadays. In this card I used Skybright foil for the arch, and white foil for the background. I love the pink and teal color combo, and the addition of the foil makes it look even more beautiful and special.

Before I’m diving into the cardmaking process, I want to mention we have a challenge running over at Cloud9 Crafts. The theme of this month is “Masking”. Head over to Instagram to see how you can participate and be eligible to win a prize!

First I stamped the flowers from Go For It on Perfect Colouring paper and colored them with Copic markers:

  • Pinks: R35, R32, R30, R000
  • Blues: BG15, BG53, B000, BG0000

With a white gel pen I also added dots to make the flowers look more whimsical. After coloring, I die cut the flowers with coordinating dies. If you are not into coloring, know there are also layering stencils available for these flowers.

The card also contains a couple of foiled elements. The Nested Arch was foiled with Skybright foil, and the Quadrant Backdrop was foiled with white foil on Ballet Slippers cardstock. These colors also match the coloring of the flowers nicely.

The arch and flowers I popped up with foam tape and foam squares for dimension. The sentiment I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and also popped it up with foam tape. Finally, as a finishing touch, I added a few Blush Glitter Drops.

I hope you like this card, and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
