Hi everyone! I had a lot of fun coloring these critters from the Pop Up Posies and turning them into this soft, clean and simple card. Lately I also love using alcohol ink pattern paper, it looks gorgeous! Plus it adds a lot to the card with minimal effort.
Before I’m diving into the cardmaking process, I want to mention we have a challenge running over at Cloud9 Crafts. The theme of this month is “Masking”. Head over to Instagram to see how you can participate and be eligible to win a prize!

The stamp set I’m featuring today is the Pop Up Posies from Clearly Besotted. I stamped the images on Perfect Colouring paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored them with Copic markers:
- Purples: BV02, BV00, BV0000
- Pinks: RV55, RV52, V000
- Teals: BG32, BG11, BG10, BG0000
- Flowers: Y26, Y21, Y000, E99, BG72, BG0000
- Critters: E43, E42, E41, E40, R30
After coloring, I fussy cut the images with Cutter Bee scissors. You may als notice, it looks as if the critters are sitting in the watering cans, which I achieved by masking.

On the cardbase I adhered alcohol ink pattern paper which matched very nicely with the colors I used for the images. To mute the background a bit and make the images stand out, I die cut a strip of vellum with a scallop die. The vellum I popped up slightly with thin foam squares. On top of the vellum I adhered the critters with foam tape.
The sentiment I stamped at the bottom of the card with VersaMark ink, coated it in white embossing powder, and heat set it. As a finishing touch, I added white die cut flowers in a number of places.
I hope you like this card, and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
