Hi everyone! Lately I love playing around with florals on vellum, it gives such a lovely subtle look. As the background is very colorful, these neutral floral elements were the perfect touch. The inspiration for this card came from the Pinkfresh Studio challenge.

First I started with creating the background by using the Floral Backdrop Coverplate on white cardstock. Inspired by the colors of the Pinkfresh Studio challenge, I chose the following Distress Oxide colors to work with: Salvaged Patina, Saltwater Taffy, Dried Marigold, Squeezed Lemonade, and Evergreen Bough. I ink blended these in diagonal stripes, which also matches with the challenge. Using all these colors on the background gives such happy vibes!

For the focal point, I used the Fancy Circles die on both white and Ballet Slippers cardstock. On top of this, I adhered the sentiment from the Ephemera pack. To decorate the circle and give it a more finished look, I prepared a number of floral elements. The flowers themselves are from the Dreamy Florals set, which I white heat embossed on vellum. The leaves are from the Garden Wreath die set, which I die cut from white and pearlescent vellum.
As a finishing touch, I adhered Blush Glitter drops in the center of the flowers.
I hope you like this card, and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
