Oops A Daisy Box Card – Clearly Besotted

Hi everyone! The Oops A Daisy set lends itself perfectly for a box card! It was one of the first ideas that popped into my mind. For creating this box card, I only used a small amount of supplies, which is also nice for the cleanup after the cardmaking ;-).

Before I’m diving into the cardmaking process, I want to mention we have a challenge running over at Cloud9 Crafts. The theme of this month is “Shaker Cards”. Head over to Instagram to see how you can participate and be eligible to win a prize!

The stamp set I’m featuring today is the Oops A Daisy from Clearly Besotted. I stamped the images on Perfect Colouring paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored them with Copic markers:

  • Flowers: RV66, RV55, RV52, V000, YG67, YG63, YG61
  • Ducks: V12, Y26, Y21. Y11, E40, RV52, YR18, YR15

After coloring, I fussy cut the images with Cutter Bee scissors.

The box card I first die cut out of white cardstock, and a number of elements I also die cut out of yellow Flower Market paper. Separately I also created the grass by trimming it to the right size to adhere on the inserts. This way the grass is nice and sturdy than if it would only be made from the pattern paper.

For the sentiment, I used the Happy Birthday sentiment set from Pinkfresh Studio, and stamped it with MFT Extreme Black ink. This box came together super easy, with a minimum amount of supplies.

I hope you like this card, and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
