Hi everyone! I was in need for a few get well soon cards. So I came up with a simple design which was easy to recreate a few times. I love the faux watercolor look, and the contrast of the white flower against the blue background.

First I created a mask by die cutting the center of masking paper with the Nesting Deckle die. The frame I taped over the cardstock, and ink blended a striped pattern with the Broad Strokes stencil and Distress Oxides: Prize Ribbon, Uncharted Mariner, Broken China, Peacock Feathers, Salvaged Patina, Tumbled Glass.

The focal point is a flower die cut from white cardstock with the In-Focus Florals die from My Favorite Things. I love the simple and elegant look, plus the contrast of white against blue. On top of the flower I added a heat embossed sentiment from the Itty Bitty Basics set.
I hope you like this card, and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
