A Birthday Card for Coffee Lovers – My Favorite Things

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a masculine version of the card design I showed last week. It is always fun to see how changing colors, or a few elements, can give a card such a different look and feel. Which card do you like the most?

Before I’m diving into the cardmaking process, I want to mention we have a challenge running over at Cloud9 Crafts. The theme of this month is “Sweet Treats”. Head over to Instagram to see how you can participate and be eligible to win a prize!

Creating this card involves a lot of die cutting and paper piecing. Usually that is not my favorite thing to do, but with this card I had a lot of fun with it. I just put up some music and got in the zone 😉

The colors cardstock I used to die cut the Be Your Own Barista elements are:

In the center of the white panel I stamped the sentiment from Coffee Order with Memento Tuxedo black ink. Around it I placed the coffee machines and coffee cups, adding Tiny Diamonds as embellishments.

The background panel is Sage Leaf cardstock to which I added details with the Dotted Scallops Coverplate die.

I hope you like this card, and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
