Hi everyone! It is always fun to catch up with friends and colleagues over a coffee. So when MFT released this set, I was very excited to create cards with it. Today I’m sharing a rainbow version, and next week I will share a masculine version.
Before I’m diving into the cardmaking process, I want to mention we have a challenge running over at Cloud9 Crafts. The theme of this month is “Sweet Treats”. Head over to Instagram to see how you can participate and be eligible to win a prize!
Creating this card involves a lot of die cutting and paper piecing. Usually that is not my favorite thing to do, but with this card I had a lot of fun with it. I just put up some music and got in the zone 😉
The colors cardstock I used to die cut the Be Your Own Barista elements are:
- Ballet Slippers and Guava
- Mermaid and Peacock
- Sticky Note and Sunflower
- Apricot and Raspberry
In the center of the white panel I stamped the sentiment from Coffee Order with Memento Tuxedo black ink. Around it I placed the coffee machines and coffee cups, adding Tiny Diamonds as embellishments.
On the cardbase I adhered pattern paper from the Really Rainbow pack which compliments the colors of the die cuts. I love how cheerful it makes the card!
