Hi everyone! For this Christmas card I went with soft colors, combining two brands you usually may not see on the same card: Clearly Besotted and Pinkfresh Studio. It was really fun to bring these two brands with different styles together.
Before I’m diving into the cardmaking process, I want to mention we have a challenge running over at Cloud9 Crafts. The theme of this month is “Glitter”. Head over to Instagram to see how you can participate and be eligible to win a prize!

First I stamped the Nordic Plushies on Perfect Colouring paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic markers:
- Bear: E44, E43, E42, E41, E40, BG04, BV02, BV00, BV0000
- Penguin: W6, W4, W2, W0, BG75, BG72, BG0000, E41, E40, Y26, Y21
- Deer: E74, E71, E70, RV95, RV93, RV91

The background I wanted to keep quite soft, so I went for a heat embossed background with soft ink blending on top. The background stamp used is Holiday City View from Pinkfresh Studio which I heat embossed with white embossing powder. The Distress Oxide colors I used for ink blending are Milled Lavender and Speckled Egg. These colors match nicely with the colors I used for the critters.
For the sentiment I did reverse foiling with the Joy hot foil plate and the solid hot foil plate. I love the sparkle silver foil, it is so festive! The sub sentiment I stamped with Speckled Egg to make it match with the background.
I hope you like this card, and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
