Hi everyone! This adorable image is from the Fa La La set from Mama Elephant and I thought it to be a nice challenge for myself to color it with colored pencils. It is not something I do often, but I’m really happy with the result! The rest of the card I kept clean and simple so the image could shine.
First I stamped the image with Inkon3 Fadeout ink on Canson 1557 paper and colored it with Polychromos pencils:
- Fox: 283, 187, 183, 275, 177, 175, 270, 271, 272
- Bunny: 270, 271, 272, 103, 132, 189
- Scarfs: 154, 156, 158, 159, 275
Out of the Caribbean Sea cardstock, I die cut a circle and below it I heat embossed the sentiment from Joyful Greetings in white. From Sno Cone cardstock, I die cut an Ornate Circle, which I adhered on the other panel. By not fully adhering the circle down, I was able to lift up the outside, giving it dimension.
