Blooming Thank You Card – Pinkfresh Studio

4 Revisions

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a thank you card with Pinkfresh Studio products, inspired by the colors and theme of the Pinkfresh challenge. For backgrounds I don’t usually go for darker colors, but I really liked how well it matched with the colors used for the Blooming Branch.

The Blooming Branch I stamped on white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. For adding color to the stamped image, I used the coordinating layering stencils and Distress Oxides. I love how easy it is, and fast, to add color with stencils.

The Distress Oxide colors used are: Mustard Seed, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry, Salvaged Patina, Broken China, Seedless Preserves, Villainous Potion, and Evergreen Bough.

For the background panel I went with Sage Leaf cardstock, which matches really nicely with the leaves of the flowers. To add more interest to the background, I added a pattern with the Slim Leafy Squares stencil and Yeti ink. As the theme of the challenge is stripes, I also added strips of cardstock to the background in the same colors as I used for the flowers.

The Blooming Branch I popped up with foam tape from the background, and I added a sentiment from the Foiled Ephemera pack which I popped up with a double layer of foam tape. As a final finishing touch, I added Gold Pearls.

I hope you like this card, and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
