Two for One with a Monochromatic Geo Arch Background – Pinkfresh Studio

Hi everyone! As I had a teal Geo Arch background left, I created another card with it! If you’re also interested to see the other card, I shared it last week. Both cards use a lot of the same supplies, but they still have quite a different look, which I love!

Before I’m diving into the cardmaking process, I want to mention we have a challenge running over at Cloud9 Crafts. The theme of this month is “Monochromatic”. Head over to Instagram to see how you can participate and be eligible to win a prize!

On my YouTube channel I have a process video available in which I show you how to create this card. If you enjoy watching my videos, make sure to like, subscribe, and leave a comment. I’d love to hear what you enjoyed most!

The background featured in this card I created with the Geo Arch hot foil plate and layering stencils. As I wanted to stick to monochromatic colors, I picked different teals to work with. To not make the colors too overwhelming, I made sure to leave enough white in the card. Even for the Floral Folk Stem I largely stuck with teal colors. However, I found there was not enough contrast between Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers, so I also added a bit of Uncharted Mariner.

The Floral Folk Stem is actually one big flower, but I cut it into several pieces so it could hug the sentiment. The sentiment is from a Foiled Sentiments pack, with 39 sentiments to chose from! I was really surprised by the amount of sentiments, and the great variety within them.

As a final finishing touch, I added Iridescent pearls which also nicely breaks up the teal colors in the card.

I hope you like this card, and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
