Pastel Rainbow Wreath Shaker Card – Pinkfresh Studio

Hi everyone! Inspired by the Pinkfresh challenge I created a shaker card featuring a wreath in rainbow colors. It is a bit of work to die cut the leaves out of the different colors of cardstock, but it was so worth it!

First I created the wreath using the Garden Wreath die. I used several colors of cardstock from MFT and Lawn Fawn: Summer Splash, Sno Cone, Cotton Candy, Lemon Chiffon, Sour Apple, Grapesicle, and Apricot. This and gluing down all the pieces was the most consuming part, but it is a great eye catcher!

On top of the wreath leaves, I also adhered flowers die cut from white cardstock. In the center of the flowers, I put Tiny Diamonds in matching colors to the leaves.

For the shaker I wanted to do foiling on top of the acetate to make it look more interesting. When you do this, make sure to use heat resistant acetate! Else it will melt. For foiling of the Art Deco design and the Fancy Script sentiment, I used Prism foil.

Inside the shaker, I added the same Tiny Diamonds as I used for the centers of the flowers. Next to that, I also added a bit of Chunky Glitter as that also has a rainbow effect. After having added all the shaker bits, I closed of the shaker, and put a Blanket Stitched Rectangle frame on top to finish it off.

I hope you like this card, and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!

With this card I’m participating in the June challenge of Pinkfresh Studio.
