Hi everyone! Earlier this month I used rainbow colors for the Viking Plushies, and now I have finally created a card with them! As you can see, I kept the rainbow theme with the colored sunray backgrounds. These cute critters look ready to go on adventure right?!
Before I’m diving into the cardmaking process, I want to mention we have a challenge running over at Cloud9 Crafts. The theme of this month is “Beach Scenes”. Head over to Instagram to see how you can participate and be eligible to win a prize!

The Viking Plushies I stamped on Perfect Colouring paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic markers:
- Penguins: N5, N3, N1, N0, YR24, Y18, YR21
- Red: R35, R32, R30
- Orange: YR15, YR21, YR20
- Green: G24, G21, G20
- Blue: B91, B93, B95
- Purple: BV02, BV00, BV0000
- Browns: E44, E43, E42, E41, E40
With a white gel pen I added dots to their eyes and cheeks which I think really adds to the cuteness!

For the backgrounds, I ink blended sunrays in different colors Distress Oxide: Dried Marigold, Cracked Pistachio, Shaded Lilac. I felt these colors matched very well with the colors I used for the critters. For the sand, I took Neenah Desert Storm as a base, and ink blended Distress Oxide Vintage Photo at the top. In order to get a more sandy look, I also added splatters with Vintage Photo, plus I added dots with a white gel pen.

The Film Strip frame I die cut 3 times out of white cardstock and stacked them on top of each other for dimension. The little scenes I adhered inside the film strip, and on top of Vanilla Malt cardstock. Finally I heat embossed the sentiment and die cut it with the Itty Bitty Strips die.
I hope you like this card, and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
