Hi everyone! Inspired by the Pinkfresh challenge I created a slimline card with subtle rainbow pastel colors. To also give the card a bit of a magical feeling, I turned it into an edge to edge shaker card.

On the smooth side of watercolor cardstock, I ink blended a pattern with the Slim Leafy Squares stencil and the Pinkfresh inks: Mint, Ballet Slipper, Soft Lilac, Peach Fuzz. To give a nice frame to the background, I did partial die cutting with the Blanket Stitched Rectangles die.
To turn it into an edge to edge shaker, I used old packaging, which I wrapped around the background and adhered it with double sided tape. Before I completely closed the shaker, I put in the sequins: Birthday Candles (I only used the iridescent sequins in there), Nuvo Golden Years Confetti, and Iridescent Bubbles.

After my Gemini Foilpress heated up, I foiled the Small Butterflies, and the Fancy Script Words on vellum and white paper respectively. From Pearlescent vellum and white cardstock I die cut the Leafy Branch die, and stacked them on top of each other. I made sure to only adhere the vellum on the stem, but not on the leaves to give it room to pop up.
The butterflies I also ink blended on white cardstock with the layering stencils. On top of those, I adhered the foiled vellum butterflies. Before adhering, I made sure the wings were popped up nicely for some dimension. For adhering vellum, I always tend to use Glossy Accents as that doesn’t show too much.

Finally I adhered all the elements to the edge to edge shaker card and adhered it to Grapesicle cardstock for a nice frame.
I hope you like this card, and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
With this card I’m participating in the June challenge of Pinkfresh Studio.
