Hi everyone! Creating a magical rain shaker card has been on my wishlist for a while. This is one of those type of cards with an amazing WOW factor. With the new Little Agenda Airplanes from Mama Elephant, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to give it a go!
Before I’m diving into the cardmaking process, I want to mention we have a challenge running over at Cloud9 Crafts. The theme of this month is Interactive. Head over to Instagram to see how you can participate and be eligible to win a prize!

The critters from Little Agenda Airplanes I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Perfect Colouring paper. The coloring itself I did not include in the YouTube video below, but here are the Copic colors I used:
- Dog: E77, E74, E71, E70
- Cat: W4, W2, W0
- Bunny: E42, E41, E40
- Cheeks: R22, R20, R30
- Teals: BG78, BG57, BG53
- Purple: V17, V15, V12
- Pink: RV66, RV55, RV52
On my YouTube channel I also have a process video available in which I show you how to create this interactive rain shaker card. If you like watching my videos, remember to subscribe so you won’t miss a thing.
The colors I used for the critters, I actually tried to match with the beads I wanted to use for the rain. The glass seed beads I used are quite clear and are treaded on a clear nylon string, so they give a subtle and magical effect. I alternated the colors of the bead strings between blue and purple. Within a string, I alternated a colored bead, with a clear bead. It did take me a while to tread all the beads, but it was definitely worth it!

Have you ever tried to create a rain shaker card? It really is fun, so I encourage you to give it a go!
I hope you like this card, and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
