Christmas Shaker Card feat. Snowball Fight – Hello Bluebird

Hi everyone! Today I have a fun winter themed card with the adorable Snowball Fight from Hello Bluebird. I kept the color scheme of this card really simple, which is based on the pattern paper I used on the background. And to make the card extra fun, I turned it into a shaker.

First I stamped the images from Snowball Fight with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Perfect Colouring paper and colored it with my Copic markers. After coloring, I die cut everything with the coordinating dies.

To create a scene, I die cut a white frame with the Gallery Frame #6 die. I turned this into a shaker with vellum instead of acetate to mute the plaid background paper I planned to use on the card base. For the sequins I used Tonic Studio’s Peacock Feathers and Golden Years confetti. Before I put together the shaker, I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black ink on the vellum.

The critters I adhered with either foam squares or liquid glue for some variation. As a final touch, I added details with a white gel pen.

I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
