Hi everyone! Last week I showed several foiling techniques you can do with/without a laminator. In the card of today I wanted to showcase two of the techniques. It is a very bold Christmas card, with lots of foil! I also received the new Distress Oxide Villainous Potion, so I also included that in the design.
This month we have the Warm and Cozy challenge over at Cloud9 Crafts. Check out the Instagram post to learn more! As I’m a DT member, I also created this card as inspiration for the challenge.

Over on my YouTube channel, you can find a process video of this card. You can also find a full list of supplies used in the description box. If you like watching my videos, remember to like and subscribe. Thanks!
I stamped all the images from Snow Friends with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Perfect Colouring paper. The Copic markers used are listed below. In the video on YouTube you can also see the coloring process.
- Reds: R24, R22, R20
- Purples: V09, V15, V12
- Snowman shading: W6, W4, W2, W0
- Dog: E74, E71, E70
- Broom: E49, E77, E74, E71, E70
After coloring, I die cut everything with the coordinating dies.

For the background, I ink blended Distress Oxide Villainous Potion through the Plaid stencil on top of Guava cardstock. For the thinner stripes, I used Hot Foil Gel, and foiled it with the Spellbinders foil in the color Champagne. The Big Warm Fuzzy Hugs sentiment, I foiled with the same foil, but used a different technique. I love the distressed look this technique gives. To make the sentiment stand out from the background, I adhered it on a white sentiment, slightly offset.

Finally I adhered my images on top using a mixture of glue and foam squares.
I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
