Soft Clean and Simple Friendship Card – Hello Bluebird

Hi everyone! Earlier I colored the girl and bunny from the Picked for You stamp set from Hello Bluebird. Today I turned these two into a soft CAS card. I love this sweet scene and the pastel colors in it. By using the watercolor wash stencil from MFT, I could easily create a soft background to compliment the images.

First I stamped the images from the Picked for You stamp set on Perfect Colouring paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink. For coloring, I used the following Copic markers:

  • Girl hair: E57, E55, E53, E50
  • Girl skin: E04, E13, E11, E21, R20
  • Girl shirt: R20, R30, R000
  • Girl skirt: N1, N0, V12, V000
  • Bunny: E33, E53, E51, R20, R30, R000
  • Flowers: R22. R20, Y13, Y11, G21, G20
  • Bows: V15, V12, V000

After coloring, I die cut the images with the coordinating dies. To create the soft background, I used Distress Oxide Spun Sugar and Milled Lavender together with the Watercolor Wash Free Form stencil from MFT. After I figured out where I wanted to put the images, I stamped the sentiment and added some hearts around it. The hearts I created by ink blending Distress Oxide Spun Sugar on a piece of cardstock, and die cutting them with heart dies from the Gallery Frame die and Say What Gift Tags die.

I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
