Hi everyone! Last month I created a rainbow colored birthday card with Mice Day to Celebrate which was so much fun! So I just had to create one again. This time I made a flat shaker card, or edge to edge shaker card. It is super festive, and easy to make.
This month we have a Food and Drinks challenge over at Cloud9 Crafts. Check out the Instagram post to learn more! As I’m a DT member, I also created this card as inspiration for the challenge.

Over on my YouTube channel, you can find a process video of this card. You can also find a full list of supplies used in the description box. If you like watching my videos, remember to like and subscribe. Thanks!
I stamped all the images from Mice Day to Celebrate with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Perfect Colouring paper. The main Copic markers used are listed below. In the video on YouTube you can also see the coloring process.
- Mouse: N0, N1, N3, R20, R30, R000
- Party hat: G21, G20, RV11
- Cupcake: RV14, RV13, RV11, RV000
- Wrapper: BG45, BG11, BG0000
- Stand: Y13, Y11, Y000, N1, N0
- Stool: V12, V000
After coloring, I die cut everything with the coordinating dies. On the cupcake I added some sprinkles, which are the Spellbinders Sweet Sprinkles.

For the sentiment strips, I used pattern paper from the Really Rainbow paper pack from Lawn Fawn. On top I stamped the Itty Bitty Birthday sentiments with VersaMark ink, and heat set the WOW! white embossing powder. For the background of the shaker, I used pattern paper from the Watercolor Wishes Rainbow Collection paper pack from Lawn Fawn. Around that paper I wrapped the acetate to create a pocket in which I put the sequins: Spellbinder Sweet Sprinkles, Prisma Glitter, and Chunky Glitter. It cannot get more sparkly than this!

On the cardbase (3.5″ x 6.5″) I adhered pattern paper from the Really Rainbow paper pack. On top I adhered my flat shaker with the images and sentiment strips.
I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
