Hi everyone! Today we celebrate Cloud9 Crafts 3rd year anniversary! For this event, I have created this rainbow colored birthday card featuring the adorable mice from Mice Day to Celebrate.
Head over to our Instagram to participate in the birthday hop! We are giving away gift certificates to random winners, so be sure to comment on each stop on the hop!
I stamped all the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Perfect Colouring paper and colored them with Copic markers:
- Mice: W4, W2, W0, R20, R30, R000
- Pinks: RV14, RV13, RV11, RV10
- Purples: V17, V15, V12, V000
- Yellows: E42, Y18, Y13, Y11, Y000
- Teals: BG13 , BG32, BG11, BG10
- Greens: G24, G21, G20
After coloring, I die cut everything with the coordinating dies. To give everything a very festive look, I coated a number of elements with Nuvo Crystal Glaze, and sprinkled Prisma Glitter and Chunky Glitter over top.
The rainbow colored background I created with the watercolor wash free form stencil, and Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade, Kitsch Flamingo, Salvaged Patina, and Shaded Lilac. To create the shimmer, I sprayed Sheer Shimmer Spritz Spray on top. The sentiment I stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink, which is my go-to ink when stamping on Distress Oxide.
On the cardbase, I adhered rainbow colored pattern paper from the retired Party Patterns paper pack from MFT. The background panel I trimmed down with the Layers A2 dies from Time For Tea Designs. Finally, I adhered all the images with the regular and thin foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives.
I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
