Hi everyone! Today I decided to play with the You Make Me Smile die and combine it with the cute Word Buddies Woodland. Of this set I picked a few bunnies and bears. I love how they are designed to be combined with the letters, but can also be used on their own.

First I stamped all the images on Perfect Colouring paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in with Copic markers.
- Bunnies: E42, E41, E50, R20, R000
- Bears: E55, E53, E51, E50, R20, R000
- Hearts: R22, R20, R000
After coloring, I die cut them all with the coordinating dies. The little hearts are from the Word Buddies Woodland and Word Buddies Jungle. On the bunnies and bears I added a few highlights with a white gel pen.

For the background I created a gradient with Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick, Dried Marigold, Squeezed Lemonade, and Cracked Pistachio. To add more interest, I added splatters with water, plus with watercolor from the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors set.
The You Make Me Smile sentiment I die cut two times out of white cardstock and stacked the letters on top of each other. This helps with giving them dimension and making them stand out more from the background. For adhering the letters to the ink blended background, I used the die cut cardstock from the letters as a template, so the letters would be positioned just right.
Finally I added my critters and hearts to the card with thin and regular foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives.
I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
