Create Your Own Pattern Paper with Nursery – The Greeting Farm

Hi everyone! For the card of today I created my own pattern paper with a number of images from the new Nursery digi set from The Greeting Farm. This was a quite relaxing and fun project to do. Do you ever create your own pattern paper?

I created the digi scene in Procreate on my iPad and then printed the ‘pattern paper’ out on Perfect Colouring paper, and the sentiment button on Neenah Desert Storm cardstock. To make sure the pattern paper would not stand out too much, I played with the transparency of those images in Procreate.

After printing the scene, I colored it with my Copic markers.

  • Diapers: G20, E000, R20, N1, N0
  • Bottle: E000, R20, N1, N0
  • Onesie: Y13, Y11, Y000, E000, E41
  • Shading: W2

To make the sentiment stand out more from the Desert Storm cardstock, I added highlights with a white gel pen. For the stitching details, I used the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 from MFT. As card base, I used Sunflower cardstock from Lawn Fawn.

There are several ways to create your digi scene, you could also for instance use Word or Photoshop. On the TGF YouTube channel there are a couple of video’s explaining.

I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
