Treasure Island – Rachelle Anne Miller

Hi everyone! Today I am back with a new card featuring the Treasure Island digi from Rachelle Anne Miller. For this digi I created a handmade scene with my Copic markers. It can be challenging to create full scenes yourself, but for me it is very much worth the time and effort!

On my YouTube channel you can watch the whole coloring process if interested. In total the coloring was about 2 hours, so I have sped up the video 4 times. I hope this video will give you an idea how to tackle handmade scenes. I have also included chapters in the video, so you can easily navigate to the part you are interested in. As the theme of the card is pirates, I also picked music that matches. I hope you’ll enjoy!

The size of this card is a mini slimline, so it measure 3 1/2 by 6 1/2 inch. This was the perfect size for this digital stamp, it just left a nice amount of space for the sky and the sea without it becoming too much.

For the sentiment I chose ‘Ahoy Matey’, which I white heat embossed on black cardstock. As a final touch, I added white to the sea with a gel pen and gouache.

I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
