Hi everyone! Today I’m back with a card for AB Studio featuring this cute pig (ID-961) on a birthday cake! And to make the card look extra festive, I turned it into a shaker so it looks as if there is confetti in the background.
First I stamped the image on Perfect Colouring paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copic markers. On the icing of the cake I added Stickles Stardust and Nuvo Crystal Glaze for a nice shiny look.
To create a shaker window, I die cut an oval with the Center Picture Window die from Lawn Fawn and closed it with vellum. In the shaker I put Nuvo Golden Years Confetti and sequins set Goldy from the Missees Collection. On the white front panel, I also added splatters with Distress Oxide Candied Apple and Mustard Seed. This adds to the confetti look and the colors matched nicely with the colored image. To close of the shaker, I adhered red striped pattern paper from the Over The Rainbow paper set.
