Pelican Girl – Rachelle Anne Miller

Hi everyone! Today I have a sneak peak of a new digi stamp, Pelican Girl, which will be released on June 10th! I love the adorable friendship between the girl and the pelican. When I first saw it, I imagined them together on a pier, so that is what I drew! If you are interested in the whole June release, check out the From Up High value set which is cheaper than buying the 4 individual stamps.

On my YouTube channel you can watch the whole coloring process if interested. The video will go live on June 10th at 9am ACST. If you don’t want to miss the video, make sure to subscribe to my channel. In total the coloring was about 2 hours, so I have sped up the video 4 times. I hope this video will give you an idea how to tackle handmade scenes. I have also included chapters in the video, so you can easily navigate to the part you are interested in.

Truth be told, the coloring of the background and the pier was a bit troublesome. But I soldiered through and learned a lot from it! One thing I learned is I need to refill my BV* markers, ha!

For the sentiment I chose ‘Friendship is caring and sharing’, which I stamped with Distress Oxide Shaded Lilac on the background.

I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
