Slim Scenescape Builder – Mama Elephant

Hi everyone! When I saw the new Slim Scenescape Builder from Mama Elephant I got so excited! I couldn’t wait to create a slimline box card with it featuring the Little Agenda Spaceship and Little Superhero Agenda. And what made me extra happy is that I also received the Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina!

This card I also made as inspiration for the Stencils challenge over at Cloud9 Crafts. Head over to our Instagram to see how you can participate and be eligible to win a gift certificate to the store!

On my YouTube channel you can find a process video on how to create this Slim Scenescape Builder box card. If you like watching my videos, make sure to subscribe to my channel.

To create a nice background for the spaceship and superhero critters, I created a gradient with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina and Kitsch Flamingo. These are my 2 new favorite colors of the Oxides! And as the challenge is to use stencils, I created sunrays with the Ray of Light stencil from MFT and Nuvo Glimmer Paste Moonstone.

On the stitched decorative pieces for the front and sides of the box, I also created a gradient with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina and Kitsch Flamingo. To decorate these pieces even further, I die cut stars out of Holographic cardstock from Lawn Fawn. The stars are a little die which is also in the Slim Scenescape Builder set. I feel these holographic stars are the perfect finishing touch for this out of this world card!

I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
