Hi everyone! Welcome to part 3 of the Poppies For You series. Today I will show you the second card created with the 2-for-1 background from my previous post. What was left over from that card, was a frame which was perfect for a shaker card.

As the shaker frame was quite large, I decided to adhere another frame of vellum on the inside. This way, the area did not seem too large, plus it added a nice extra. Behind that, I adhered the acetate and the 3M Scotch foam tape. For the background behind the shaker, I stamped the Best Friend Background from MFT with Distress Oxide Wilted Violet. To make the text not too harsh against the white background, I also lightly ink blended Wilted Violet on top.
As sequins, I chose the Ice White Circles from the Golden Years Confetti by Nuvo. This sequins is quite subtle and matches nicely with the stamped poppies which I will get to next.

So on top of the shaker window, I wanted to have a focal point which would not be too distracting. So I stamped the large poppy on vellum with VersaMark ink and heat set the WOW! White Pearl embossing powder. When you tilt this in the light, you can see the beautiful pearlescent look of this powder. To also add the same effect to the sentiment, I first stamped it with Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo, and then also heat set the pearl embossing powder on top.
I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
