Flowers for Mom – Jocelijne Design

Hi everyone! In my first 2 cards with the new release of Jocelijne Design, I mainly highlighted the unicorns. Today I want to showcase the two oh-so-cute die sets: Flowers for Mom, and Happy Smiles. I love the adorable faces you can give to them, and you have multiple options to choose from!

On my YouTube channel you can find a process video on how I made this card. If you like watching my videos, make sure to like and subscribe.

For the different elements in the card I used cardstock from Lawn Fawn to which I added some texture with ink blending and/or splatters. The colors I used for the sun and flowers from Jocelijne Design:

  • Sun: Sunflower, Fake Tan, Guava (cheeks)
  • Sunflower: Pencil Eraser, Sunflower, Ballet Slippers (cheeks)
  • Flower: Guava, Apricot, Ballet slippers (cheeks)

As I wanted to fit multiple elements from Jocelijne Design on the card, I decided to go for a slimline version. The die sets I used for this are: Slim Window Dressing from Mama Elephant, and Small Slimline with Lift The Flap from Lawn Fawn. The grass I die cut from Cilantro cardstock with the grass that also comes with the Slim Window Dressing die.

Usually I do not stamp anything on the inside of the card, but I had a text stamp which was just perfect for this card. These texts are from a collaboration stamp set called ‘Vriendschap’, which is exclusively available at Cloud9 Crafts and Carlijn Design. The sentiment on the front of the card is from this same set.

In the description box of the YouTube video you can find a list of supplies used, including links to different stores where the products are available.

I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!

The stores are Amazon [AMZ US], Scrapbook.com [S US], Cloud9 Crafts [C9 NL]
