Hi everyone! I just got my hands on the fun Outside The Box die from MFT and I couldn’t wait to create a card with it! As the current challenge over at MFT is about florals, I thought it would be cute to combine the Flower Fairies with the Box Card Bouquet.
First I die cut the Outside The Box card out of White Stamping Card cardstock and assembled the box. The grass inserts I created myself by die cutting Cilantro cardstock with the MFT Grassy Hills die. The strips of grass I cut at 3.5 inch so it would fit on the original inserts of the box.
The flowers of the Box Card Bouquet I die cut out of the following cardstock: Ballet Slippers, Mermaid, Sunflower. The greens I die cut out Cilantro and Noble Fir cardstock. In the centers of the flowers I added Nuvo Crystal Drops in either Dandelion Yellow, Gloss White, or Bubblegum Blush. Before I continued with assembling the box, I let the flowers dry overnight.
The Flower Fairy I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Perfect Colouring paper and colored her with Copic markers. After coloring, I die cut her with the coordinating dies. For the backdrop of the box, I ink blended Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed with the use of the Ray of Light stencil.
The sentiment I stamped with VersaMark ink on Ballet Slippers cardstock and heat set the WOW! white embossing powder. The sentiment strip I adhered directly on top of the box with liquid glue.
