Hi everyone! Today I’m back with a new card featuring the Fairies digi stamp by The Greeting Farm! This fairy looks so happy, she just makes me smile. For her I imagined a colorful rainbow shooting out of her wand, so that is what I created.
I printed the fairy and sentiment on Perfect Colouring paper and colored the fairy with Copic markers. The colors used are: Y18, Y13, Y11, V12, RV11, RV13, RV14, B00, E000, E000, E11, E13, E04.
To create the background, I masked off certain areas with washi tape to be able to create the rainbow. For ink blending I used Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo, Dried Marigold, Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Dusty Concord. I used the same colors to add some stars with the Starry Sky stencil from Lawn Fawn. To make them shimmer, I added Nuvo Glimmer Paste Moonstone on top. On the background behind the fairy, I also added stars with Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass. To ground the fairy, I created a hill using the Hillside stencil from Lawn Fawn and Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn and Cracked Pistachio.
After I the background was done, I used the MFT STAX Set 1 die to create the stitched border. On the card base, I ink blended Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo to frame the card.
