Hi everyone! As you may have guessed from the title, this card is part of a little series. From The Stamp Market I bought the ‘Poppies For You‘ stamp set and I have a lot of ideas with it! For this first card I wanted to do no-line coloring with both Copic markers and Polychromos pencils.

First I stamped the image with Inkon3 Fadeout ink on Neenah Desert Storm cardstock. For the coloring, I first started with a base layer with Copic markers (first photo). After that, I added more details and color with Polychromos pencils (photo 2, top flower completed). In order to blend the pencil well, I went over it with a white pencil from Caran d’Ache Luminance.
To help the flowers pop a bit more of the page, I added a drop shadow with a grey colored pencil on the left hand side.

The sentiment I stamped with VersaFine ink and heat set it with WOW! clear embossing powder. The latter gives a nice shiny look to it which I love. It adds that bit of extra to the card. To frame the scene, I decided to adhere it to pattern paper from the Lawn Fawn Fall Fling paper pack which I matted with black cardstock. To finish off the card, I added some sequins from Little Things from Lucy’s Card.
I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
