Hi everyone! Today I’m back with a card for AB Studio featuring the adorable ladybug stamp ID-825. I wanted to give this stamp a more rustic look, so I went for colored pencils on craft cardstock.
First I stamped the image with Lawn Fawn Jellyfish ink on Neenah Desert Storm cardstock. For the coloring I used my Polychromos pencils. To make the colors show up more on the cardstock, I first started with a layer of white before coloring with the actuals colors.
For the sentiment I chose ‘You’re a true friend’ which is from The Greeting Farm. As Distress Oxides have a somewhat muted look and that fits the card vibe, I chose to stamp the sentiment with Black Soot. Finally I created a stitched border with a stitched rectangle die, and matted the card with black.
