Feed The Birds – Hello Bluebird

Hi! It took a while, but I received my order with the latest release of Hello Bluebird, yay! I couldn’t wait to get started with creating a soft looking card with the adorable Feed The Birds stamp set.

First I stamped all the images on Perfect Colouring paper with Inkon3 Fadeout ink. Then I colored them with my Copic markers:

  • Bird: E11, E50, R20, B000, B00, B93, B95, W2
  • Girl: RV66, V15, V12, V01, E59, E77, E74, E71, E42, E41, E50, R85, R83, R81

After coloring I die cut them with the coordinating dies. For the background, I lightly ink blended Distress Oxide Spun Sugar and Shaded Lilac in a gradient. On top of it, I stamped the sentiment Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick.

For the snow bank, I die cut white card stock with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders die, and also created a small pocket with the Sandy Beach Accents die for the birdhouse. I adhered the snow bank with liquid glue on the background, and adhered the images on top with a mixture of foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives and liquid glue. Underneath the images, I also shaded the background to ground the images more.

For the card base I used a cream colored cardstock which compliments the cream colors well within the card. I popped up the whole scene with foam tape at the back.

I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
