Hi! This Missee is ready for Christmas! It was a lot of fun coloring her and also giving her all the gold embossed details.
First I stamped the Missee on Perfect Colouring paper and colored her in with Copic Markers. The eyes and mouth are from Tasha, the rest of the Missee is from the stamp sets Melanie and Miranda.
On her sweater I stamped a big snowflake, and I also added a gold border with a VersaMark pen. I also used the VersaMark pen for her hair band. In case you don’t know, VersaMark ink is a clear sticky ink to which the gold embossing powder will stick to, after which you can melt it with your heat gun.
For the background, I started creating a gradient with Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn and Cracked Pistachio. Then with the Buffalo Plaid stamp set from MFT, I stamped the pattern on top with Distress Oxide Evergreen Bough and Mowed Lawn. To finish off the card, I create more interest and a Christmas feeling by adding white splatters with the Gansai Tambi Starry Colors watercolor set.
