Snow Much Fun – Mama Elephant

Hi everyone! For the card of today I wanted a soft, clean and simple design. For what I had in mind, the Snow Much Fun stamp set was perfect. As I wanted to have a soft look and feel, I also decided to do no-line coloring.

First I stamped the image on Perfect Coloring paper with Inkon3 Fadeout ink. A good alternative for this is the Lawn Fawn Jellyfish ink. Then I colored it with my Copic markers:

  • Teal: BG32, BG11, BG10
  • Coral: YR000, YR01, YR02
  • Snowman nose: YR20, YR21
  • Snowman shading: C1, C0
  • Dogs: E43, E42, E41, E50, E57, E55, E53

To create the snowy background, I used Mermaid cardstock from Lawn Fawn as a base. From this I die cut the center portion with the Stacked Circles from Mama Elephant. To create the dimensional snow, I used modeling paste and the Snowy Sky stencil from Lawn Fawn.

For the sentiment, I used the “sending warm wishes all winter long” from the Oh Penguin Tree stamp set. This I stamped with VersaMark ink and I heat set the white embossing powder on the Mermaid cardstock. I popped up the sentiment with Scrapbook Adhesives foam squares to give it dimension. The snowy background itself I also popped up with foam squares from the card base.

I hope you also like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping, and see you next time!
