Hi! In this card I wanted to show you a couple of fun things you can do with washi tape. The most straightforward way, is to just tape it on the card base, but you can also create your own pattern paper with them!

First I started by creating the polaroid frame with the dies from the STENCILKJ01 set. At the top I adhered one of the paper clips you can find in the paper elements (A5STANSBLOKKJ04) and I adhered a white heart on top to make it look cute. At the bottom of the polaroid I stamped the sentiment from STAMPKJ11. Here you can also see I did a fun thing with the heart, which I’ll get to in a bit.
The pattern paper at the back from the polaroid is from the Mixed Paper Pad (MMPKJ01). Inside the polaroid I thought it would be cute to create a selfie image of this Missee with her adorable pet. These 2 are from the Paper Elements (A5STANSBLOKKJ03) set.

On the card base, I taped washi tape from the WASHIKJ04 on the left hand side. All washi tape is from the Missees collection, except for the plain black one. That is from the Blooming collection. The Missees collection also contains black washi tape, but with little hearts or sentiments on it, and for this card I wanted to keep it simple.
Now comes the fun part of playing with washi tape. I absolutely love the green/teal washi tape with the white grid on top. So I wanted to create my own pattern paper with it and do fun things with it. On a scrap piece of cardstock, I lined up a couple of strips washi tape next to each other, making sure the grid lines lined up. Then I wanted to create my own embellishments with it, so I die cut a heart and also some circles with the dies from the STENCILKJ01 set. The little heart fit perfectly on the heart of the sentiment. I just love how everything is thought out this well! Then for the circles, I adhered them around the polaroid/clipboard which also really finishes off the card in a beautiful way.
I really hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
