Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a rainbow colored slimline card with the Zodiac Roosters from Mama Elephant.
First I stamped the Zodiac Roostres on Perfect Colouring paper and colored them with Copic Markers:
- Purples: V01, V05
- Pink: RV14, RV13
- Yellow/Orange: YR20, YR21
- Yellow: Y13, Y18
- Feet: YR24, YR27
- Cheeks: R20, RV01
- Roosters: W2, W0
For the background I created a rainbow ombre effect with the Distress Oxide colors: Wilted Violet, Worn Lipstick, Squeezed Lemonade. To add interest, I added water splatters and also shimmering splatters with the Gansai Tambi watercolor set.
The ink blended background I popped up with Scotch foam tape on the white scalloped background. The Roosters themselves I also adhered with foam tape for dimension. To finish off the card, I added sequins from Neat and Tangled called Pink Lemonade.
