Hi everyone! The April release of Mama Elephant contained this amazing Slim Card Basics Die which I absolutely love! Earlier I created a shaker card with this die, and today I’m sharing this no-line coloring slimline card with you featuring the Beach Chickies.
In the video on my YouTube channel, I show you how you can create this slimline card. I have also included the no-line copic coloring, so make sure to check it out!
For this card I went for a soft look to match the no-line copic coloring. To get a sunset feeling, I used Distress Oxide Dried Marigold and Spun Sugar for the sky.
To also get the sunny look on the chickies, I made sure there was a nice contrast, as if the sun was shining in their faces. As you can see, I did not pay any attention to a same light source for everything. I mainly focused on keeping the faces of the chickies light so you could still see their expression.
