Hi everyone! It has been a while since I created something with the Tumble Friends so I decided to dig it up again to create this baby card! For the ones who don’t know yet, this die set is from a Dutch designer called Jocelijne and she makes some amazing designs! Recently she also released Polybesa Stencils with which you can make larger critters which are just too cute. Here is a link to Instagram where you can check it out.
To create the Care Bear I die cut all the elements with the Tumble Friends die set from Lawn Fawn Cardstock Peacock and Mermaid. If you would like to know what other critters you can create, here is a link to a document showing you how you can assemble different ones. For the heart on the belly and the nose, I used the ‘Succes‘ die set from Jocelijne. On the hearts I also put Stickles Frosted Lace and Stardust to give them a nice shiny and glimmer look. For the ears, I wanted to have round shaped ones, so I used a die from the ‘Gumball Sweets‘ set. And of course, I also added highlights in a couple of places with a white gel pen.
To ceate the cloud background, I used the Cloud stencil from MFT and Distress Oxide colors Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold. For the white and vellum clouds at the bottom I used the Puffy Cloud Borders from Lawn Fawn. And for the frame I used the Scalloped Rectangle Frames from Lawn Fawn.
To make the sentiment match nicely with the background, I stamped the ‘Hoera een kleinkind’ with Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio. This Dutch sentiment is from the ‘Hoera‘ stamp set from CarlijnDesign. She has all the basic sentiment sets you can wish for and also a number of quirky and funny sentiment sets too.
