Hi everyone! For my Birthday I received a few goodies from the Lawn Fawn Spring release. I absolutely love the little bugs and could not wait to get started.

For the card making process, check out my video below or hop over to my channel. If you like watching my video’s, do not forget to subscribe.
First I stamped all the images on Perfect Colouring paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with copic markers. In the video, I show the coloring process including all the colors I used. For this card I used a lot of different stamp sets: A Bug Deal, Hey Lady, Tree Before ‘n After, and Toadally Awesome. I love how well everything goes together. After all the coloring was done, I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images.

For the card base itself, I die cut white cardstock with the Center Picture Window die. Then with the main die, and also the add-on, I die cut a bunch of elements for the background from the Dandy Day and Spring Fling paper pack. After die cutting all elements, it was time to assemble the card itself. It is easiest to watch my video to see how I did that. On my channel I have multiple video’s with the Center Picture Window die, showing several ways to use them. You can find them in the ‘Interactive Cards‘ playlist. Or you can check out my other blog posts with this die.

Once the card base was put together, I adhered all the images in place. I really had a lot of fun doing this. Creating these little scenes is my favorite thing to do. It takes quite some time to create a card like this, but it is totally worth it! I also wanted to mention where I got my inspiration from for this card design. Marine Simon created this amazing card with a cave where the treasure was hidden. I really like the design of the rocks all around the window, and I thought it would look cool as well to do the same thing with the leaves.
I hope you like these card and it gave you inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
