Shaker Card with Rub Ons from The Blooming Collection

Hi everyone! There was one set of products from the Blooming collection by Karin Joan with which I did not play with yet. These are the rub on stickers which you can adhere to many different mediums such as glass and wood. So there are many things you can do with these, not just card making. Today I will show you an example of a shaker card you can make with these rub ons.

First I die cut a stitched scalloped frame with a die from Lawn Fawn in which the sequins would go. Then I die cut a piece of acetate to the size of the scalloped frame. To adhere the rub ons, I first cut out the ones I wanted from the sheets. Then I placed them on top of the acetate and applied pressure with my bone folder. The rub ons are easily transfered to the acetate and it has a beautiful look.

For the background, I used a polka dot die from Lawn Fawn on white cardstock. Behind the white cardstock I adhered purple cardstock, which you can see through the dots. On the shaker part, I adhered cardstock from the paper pad nr. 2. Then I chose sequins that would match well with the rub on stickers and placed them on top of the cardstock. To adhere the scalloped frame with the acetate to the background, I used foam tape. The dimension of the foam tape allows the sequins to freely move around. And that already finishes off the card!

I really hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
