Don’t Let Anyone Dull Your Sparkle – The Greeting Farm

Hi everyone! Today I want to share another card with a stamp set from The Greeting Farm called “Miss Anya Hello Winter“. During the card making process I wasn’t that sure about the color combo’s I chose, but in the end I am happy with how the card turned out.

If interested, I also made a video on my YouTube channel. If you like watching my videos, make sure to subscribe to my channel.

First, I started by stamping Anya on Perfect Colouring paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. As I wanted to create a one layer card, I masked her off with masking paper. To create the background, I blended Distress Oxide ink Wilted Violet, Shaded Lilac, and Tumbled Glass. To create some shine, I splattered Liquid Stardust on the background.

After the background was dry, I removed the masking paper and colored Anya with my copic markers:

  • Hair: YR21, YR24, YR27
  • Skin: E00, E13, R20, R22
  • Jacket and hat: BG10, BG11, BG13, BG15
  • Bow: BV00, BV02, BV04
  • Boots: E31,E35, YR21, YR24

For the sentiment, I first tried heat embossing on the background, but I felt that did not stand out well enough. So I heat embossed it with white embossing powder on black cardstock. Because of this, it is not really a one layer card anymore, but I don’t mind. Then for the word ‘Sparkle’, I also heat embossed it but used White Twinkle embossing powder. For some finishing touches, I added Glossy Accents on the buttons and the bow.

I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
