Hi everyone! As you may already know, I love playing with Nuvo Shimmer Powder. They can be a bit tricky as you don’t know what the result is going to be. But that is part of the fun. So today, I created my own pattern with the Blooming stamps by Karin Joan.

First I stamped all the flowers and leaves with VersaMark ink, then covered them in WOW! white embossing powder and heat set it. There are multiple techniques you can do with Nuvo Shimmer Powders. Today I went with my go to technique: carefully sprinkle the shimmer powder on the background, and spray with water. It is best to set it aside, and let it dry. I did pick up some excess water with a paper towl. The colors I used are Solar Flare, and Cherry Bomb.

In the meantime, I started working on the sentiment. For this I die cut the word ‘Blooming’ 3 times out of white cardstock and adhered them all together with tacky glue. The sentiment strip is from the Die Cut Blocks nr 1. Once the background was dry, I glued the die cut with tacky glue on the background. The sentiment strip I adhered using foam tape at the back.
I really hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
