Hi everyone! I’m always very impressed by crafters who are good in copic coloring hair. One perfect example is Amy Young, I just love her work. I would love to get better at coloring hair, so I’m going to practice! As the stamps from The Greeting Farm are adorable and big, I felt these would be a good starting point. So in the card of today, I practiced coloring hair with Holiday Anya.

First, I started by stamping Anya on Perfect Colouring paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with my copic markers:
- Hair: E55, E57, E59
- Skin: E00, E13, E50, E51, E53
- Sweater: B93, B95, B97
- Mug: R22, R24, R29, R59
- Boots: E35, E37, E39

After coloring, I fussy cut the image and started working on the background. I die cut white cardstock with the Wonky Stitched Rectangles die from MFT. To create the heart pattern, I ink blended Distress Oxide ink Candied Apple on the ‘Love is in the air‘ stencil from MFT. For the bottom portion, I ink blended Distress Ink Vintage Photo to ground Anya. The sentiment I stamped with MFT Extreme Black ink as I love how perfectly black that is. To frame the main scene I used red cardstock.
It is quite the challenge to color hair, but I’m happy with how she turned out. Plus, practice makes perfect. So that is what I’ll do!
I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
