Hi everyone! For my lovely neighbors I wanted to create a thank you card as they always take such good care of my cats when I’m on holiday. The Tabhita stamp set from Hello Bluebird contains these adorable cats. Originally it is meant to be for Halloween cards, but I feel the set can be used for multiple occasions.
- Dress: B93, B95, B97
- Cats: C0, C1, C3, C5
- Skin: E00, E13
- Hair and boots: E35, E37, E39
After coloring, it was time to work on the background. I ink blended Distress Oxide ink Mustard Seed and Picked Raspberry in a gradient. When these 2 colors are mixed, as you can see in the middle, it creates this beautiful orange/coral like color which I love. To create some interest on the background, I splattered watercolor from the Gansai Tambi starry colors set.
To create the sentiment, I heat embossed ‘thank you for being a friend’ on black cardstock. The sentiment is from the Garden Friends stamp set. I cut this in a narrow strip and adhered it on the background.
I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
