Hi everyone! On the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog they shared a beautiful mood board by which I was inspired. The colors in the mood board are more pastel like, but as you can see, using pastel colors is not my strong suit 😉

For the ones interested, I have also created a video on my YouTube channel. If you like watching my videos and don’t want to miss any future videos, make sure to subscribe to my channel.
My idea with this card was to create a gradient of the colors in the mood board. First I ink blended Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon on top of each other and over the Geo Snowflake stencil from SugarPea Designs. Then for the other colors I used Shaded Lilac, Picked Rasperberry, and Carved Pumpkin. To give it the icy winter feeling of the mood board, I applied Nuvo Glimmer paste on top.

While the glimmer paste was drying, I moved on to the sentiment. I die cut the Big Happy Birthday from Mama Elephant 3 times out of white cardstock. One of the dies, I colored pink with Picked Raspberry. To adhere them all together I used tacky glue and offset the top white sentiment a little bit. Finally I adhered the sentiment to the background.
I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
